Experience
Senior Animator – Smartbomb Interactive, Salt Lake City, Utah —June 2007- June 2009
Snoopy: WWI Flying Ace– Rigged and animated a number vehicles, planes, weapons and bosses as well as the famous Peanuts characters for in game and cinematic animations. Also provided mentoring to junior animators.
Bee Movie Game (Nintendo Wii)– Rigged and animated a number of characters for in game animations.

Senior Animator, Incognito Studio (Sony), Salt Lake City, Utah — August 2004-April 2007
Warhawk (PS3)– Rigged and animated a number of characters and vehicles for both in game and cinematic animations.
Calling All Cars (PS3)– Rigged and animated a number of characters for both in game and cinematic animations.
Twisted Metal: Head On (PSP) – Created animations for in game.

Lead Animator, Jaleco Entertainment, Boulder, Colorado — October 2000-March 2004
Goblin Commander – Directed a team of 4 animators on a real time strategy game developed for the PlayStation 2, Xbox and Gamecube. Duties included working with the lead artist to develop a schedule, delegating animation tasks and reviewing models and animations for quality and consistency. On top of my responsibilities as lead, I also modeled, rigged and animated. My team and I modeled and rigged over 40 different creatures and created over 400 unique animations under a very aggressive schedule.
Lost Continents – modeled, rigged and animated numerous creatures for a massively multiplayer online game developed for the PC.
Figure drawing coordinator – In addition to my duties as an animator, I organized and ran a weekly figure drawing session at the studio for the benefit of the art staff.

Animation Mentor — Diploma of Advanced Studies in Character Animation, Jan 2006-Sept 2007
An intensive 18 month program consisting of weekly lectures and assignments. Students are assigned a personal mentor for weekly animation critiques as well as individualized instruction. Mentors are industry professionals from animation studios such as Pixar, Dreamworks and Blue Sky.
